Practice workflow

Create a focused guitar backing track

Choose the key, style and BPM supported by the generator above, then keep the first session simple. A clear groove gives you space to hear whether bends, rhythm and phrase endings actually fit the harmony.

Match key and scale

Confirm the track key, open the Scale Generator and choose a compatible scale. Limit the first pass to a small fretboard area before moving across positions.

Build speed gradually

Start below performance tempo, improvise short question-and-answer phrases and leave rests. Increase the BPM only after the timing stays relaxed and the notes resolve clearly.

12-bar blues practice

If the selected style provides a 12-bar blues progression, listen for the move between the I, IV and V chords. Target chord tones on each change instead of running one scale continuously.
